Nicki’s aim is to provide a comfortable and positive space where you can deepen your mind-body connection through the Yogic asana practice. It’s easy to get stuck in our thoughts and yoga helps to cultivate awareness and can give us a deeper sense of calm and presence.

These sessions offer a space to take a slow dive into our bodies and unwind at the end of the week. We will practice gentle but deep Qigong and conscious movement as well as pay attention to our breath. Winter is the most yin time of the year in the Five Element Wheel; we will honour our need to go inward, to be still and to rest.

Dance is my number one passion in life. I studied ballet, tap & modern from the age of 5 – 11. However I was always excited and inspired by Breaking and Hip Hop style dance. One of my favourite films from a very young age is ‘Breakdance’. Prior to Fresh I was in a street dance troupe from the age of 13 – 19. I have taught dance in Bristol and Bath since the age of 19 to young people and adults.
My career expanded as a Choreographer when I taught in The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath in 2007-2010 and created dance pieces for Plays. One of which, ‘ Max & Beth’ toured to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009. In 2012 I was hired to dance for a club in China for 3 months. In 2018 my troop and I were in the film 'The Festival'; we played the part as the dancers on the main stage at the festival. It was a fantastic experience and opportunity. I get a huge buzz watching my choreography come to life and an even bigger buzz from performing. Dance to me is like breathing!

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga
Wednesdays 7.15-8.15am

What does yoga mean to you?
From me I found yoga during a difficult period of my life and it brought me peace. It continues to teach me to be free, to grow and to love. My hope is to take you on a journey, exploring yoga through its fullest meaning. Including meditation, pranayama and weaving in yoga philosophy to help ground you on and off the mat.
Hatha Vinyasa combines the traditional asana practice with a playful, flowing energy focusing on breath and alignment. I love to offer challenges which help us grow, transform and have fun whilst always being mindful that everyone’s body is different.

Yoga for Power, Strength & Wellbeing
Mondays 8.20 - 9.20pm

My first training was with Swami Vishnuswaroop in Katmandu, Nepal. This was a 6 week 1:1 intensive training and it was here that I became passionate about the teaching of yoga.
In this training we focussed on the combination of Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing) and Bandha (lock) and it is from my ongoing practice these have become more prevalent in my practice and teaching. This teaching comes from the Satyananda tradition. I have completed a British Wheel 1 yr Yoga foundation and 3 yr teacher training course with Tara Fraser founder of Yoga Junction, London.
I have experienced in :
1:1 sessions with children with complex needs and learning difficulties.
Yoga to adults who have severe mental health needs.
Weekly classes to women offenders.
General yoga classes - all abilities and ages.
1:1 session to children and adults to improve practice, relaxation, health and wellness.
Pregnancy pre and post natal yoga for parents .

Libby Elm
Vinyasa Flow
Tuesdays 6pm - 7pm

Libby’s Yoga journey began back when she was about 15. She was diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis in her knee and as a result was very limited to physical activities and sport. She was encouraged to try Yoga, and so the love affair began.
Libby’s teaching style is playful and intuitive, and students are encouraged to move at their own pace, finding that sweet balance of softness and strength. Expect classes to be fluid and explorative, delving deep into the body and the breath with an ever evolving element as we tune into the seasons, weather and nature.
