Fresh Dance Company
Prior to ‘Fresh Dance & Arts Centre’, Charleen was the founder of ‘Fresh Dance
Company’. Dance has always been her number one passion in life. She studied
ballet, tap &modern from the age of 5 – 11, however was always excited and
inspired by Breaking and Hip Hop style dance. Charleen was in a street dance
troupe from the age of 13 – 19 and has been teaching dance classes in Bristol and
Bath since the age of 19 to young people and adults. Her career expanded as a
Choreographer when she started teaching in The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath in 2007
and creating dance pieces for Plays. One of which, ‘ Max & Beth’ (a modern version of Macbeth) toured to theEdinburgh Fringe Festival in 2009.
Through her years of experience, she provides a range of classes and workshops.
Bristol Hen Party Dance Workshops
Dance is fun and energetic. You can become your Alter Ego and bring out that sassy side of you! With our Hen Parties either you or we can choose the theme and Artist / Song for the workshop, i.e the theme could be ‘Pop’ and the song ‘Single Ladies’ or the theme, ‘musical’ and the song ‘All that Jazz’. Whatever you choose I will deliver you with an electrifying dance routine, which suits you and your party.
Hen Party Dance Workshops are mainly held in Bristol and Bath. I am flexible in providing Hen Party Dance Workshops in towns / areas surrounding.
Prices
£180.00 for a 1.5 hour workshop, for a maximum of 15 people. Any booking over this number of people will be an additional £10 per person. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to pay for the venue hire of where you would like to have your hen party workshop, or it can be at my dance studio for no extra cost.

In addition to our fabulous Hen Party Dance package (above) we can add on some amazing treatments for you to unwind after having your fun physical workshop. In our premise we have a kitchen and lounge area which is adjacent to the studio and treatment room which is beautifully set up for you to dive into. We are partnered with amazing Masseuses and Beauticians let us know what you would like and we can make it happen.

Alternatively for those who just want a day of massage, pampering, relaxation and music, we can provided a day of treatments without the dance package! As above the premise will be set up to create the perfect ambience.

Bristol Private Dance Lessons
I offer one to one private lessons to all age groups.
Private lessons are for:
- Choreographing and teaching a routine tailored to the individual
- Learning Performance Skills
- Learning Street dance moves & style
- Confidence building
Prior to lessons I will discuss your requirements with you and what you would like to achieve from the lessons.
I deliver Private Lessons in Bristol and Bath. I am flexible in providing Private Lessons in towns / areas surrounding these major cities.

Bristol School Street Dance Workshops
I have an enhanced DBS. I have taught in Primary & Secondary Schools in Bristol.
I offer Street / Commercial dance classes for:
- After-school Clubs.
- School lessons i.e Physical Education.
- School Performances i.e Stages.
Charleen has an excellent reputation for her work at ‘St Mary Redcliffe & Temple School’.

Bristol Birthday Party Dance Workshops
I can deliver dance workshops for children aged 5 – 16 years old and Adults.
The length of the dance workshop will be as followed:
- 5-7 year olds will be 40 mins
- 8 -16 year olds will be 1 hour
- Adults will be 1.5 hours
I will choreograph a dance routine tailored to the birthday person’s requirements.
Birthday Dance Workshops are held mainly in Bristol and Bath, however we are flexible in providing Birthday Dance Workshops in towns / areas surrounding.

Bristol Weddings First Dance
I will choreograph & teach you a dance routine to music chosen by you which you can perform at your wedding party.
It will be the Bride / Groom’s decision on how many rehearsals they require (minimum being 1 hour).
Price
£70 per hour + hire of studio (if not at my studio).
‘Fresh In Your Heels’ Bristol Dance Class
Adults dance class, learning sassy dance routines in heels to R’n’B & dancehall music. Let your hair down, bring out the sassy lady from within. These classes are not only fun but also great for fitness.
Please bring your own heels (block heels preferably), that you are comfortable in and not too high.
We offer memberships and drop-in sessions. Members will have priority to book classes before we open up spaces to drop-ins.
